Absentee Ballot Information

The Registrar of Voters does NOT handle the distribution of Absentee ballots. This is handled through the Town & City Clerk’s office. The CT Absentee ballot procedure is intricate, and not following instructions properly may result in your vote NOT being counted.

To request an Absentee Ballot, call the Ansonia Town Clerk at (203) 736-5980. Applications are available by request now; ballot availability begins Friday, October 3rd.

Register to vote or change your voter registration

You can register to vote entirely online at the following State of CT Website: VoterRegistration.CT.gov

You should never trust an alternative link to register to vote. Hackers can easily steal your information, and other websites are not directly connected to the Registrar of Voters office.
