The City of Ansonia is taking precautions to ensure that every vote counts and that every vote is safe during COVID-19. Pandemic precautions have caused modifications to your voting experience. Please follow this link for voting safely during COVID-19.
Register to vote or change your voter registration
The deadline to register to vote before Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020 has expired.
You can still register to vote on Election Day at City Hall, from 6AM to 8PM. Election Day Registration and Voting is offered to voters who have not registered within the City of Ansonia by the October 27th, 2020 11:59 PM deadline. Please bring your Driver's License (or other form of Identification) and a postmarked piece of mail from October 2020 to current with your current residential address.

Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please be in line no later than 8:00 p.m. or you will not be allowed to vote.
Absentee Ballot Information

You may submit your Absentee Ballot by:
● Mail your Ballot to Ansonia Town Hall, 253 Main Street, Ansonia, CT 06401. To ensure your absentee ballot is counted, please consider mail times for your ballot to reach City Hall. The United States Postal Services advised mailing ballots by Tuesday, October 27th, 2020.
● Use the Ballot Depository Box. Cast your Absentee Ballot by 8:00 p.m. on November 3rd using the ballot depository box located in the driveway between City Hall and Veterans Park.
